Batch creation and formula control

BatchWizard creates batch work orders from formula masters with components, quantities and sequence already resolved, so a campaign is planned as a campaign rather than assembled by hand. FlexBom holds the BOM versions behind those formulas with revision history, so a work order is tied to the revision that was current when it ran.

Capture at the point of work

FactoryBridge is where the record is actually made. An operator issues components against the operation with a cascading lot, bin and inventory-status selection — see component issue with lot and bin — so a lot that is not in the chosen bin cannot be issued at all. Setup and run are timed separately, every pause carries a coded reason, and each entry is attributed to the operator who made it and written to a tenant-wide audit log that filters by module, action, operator, work order and date, and exports to CSV.

Outputs and variance

CoYield records co-products, by-products and recovered material against the specific completion that produced them, each with its own lot, bin, status and expiry. YieldCraft reconciles planned component quantity against what was actually consumed and requires the difference to be allocated against real inventory rather than absorbed silently — the mechanics are described under yield variance.

Sequence and schedule

FactorySync handles the order things run in: visual scheduling across Gantt, Kanban and calendar views, operation-level dependency tracking so steps cannot drift out of sequence, and alerts when a run is overdue, blocked or short of material.

A Note on Validation

These are NetSuite-native products, not a validated quality system, and we would rather say that plainly. What they give you is a complete, attributed, timestamped production record inside the ERP you already validate — which is usually the hard part — rather than a second system to qualify alongside it. Where a formal eBR or QMS is required, these products supply the execution data it depends on.

Does this replace a validated batch record system?

No. It produces the attributed, timestamped production record — components by lot and bin, timed operations, coded stoppages, yields and variances — inside NetSuite. Where a formal electronic batch record or QMS is required, this is the execution data that feeds it rather than a replacement for it.

How is BOM version control handled?

FlexBom keeps revision history on the bill of materials, so a work order is associated with the revision that was current when it was created rather than whatever the BOM looks like today.

Can we trace a finished lot back to its raw material lots?

Yes. Every component issue records the lot, bin and inventory status it came from, against a specific work order operation, so backward tracing is a query over records that were created at the moment of consumption.

What happens when yields fall outside the expected range?

YieldCraft surfaces the difference between planned and actual consumption and requires it to be allocated against inventory, so an out-of-range run is visible immediately rather than at month end.
